Another thought on life.

Imagine I had a teleportation machine that could break you down into your elementary particles and then put you back together again with your original particles two paces to the right from where you originally stood, virtually instantaneously with all your particles moving and their spin in their original directions. From an observer’s perspective you would be the same person with the same looks, thoughts and memories.

Would you be the same person that’s reading this?

Imagine this time instead of using your original elementary particles the machine put you back together two paces to the left from where you were originally standing but this time with a different group of elementary particles, everything moving and their spin in the correct direction. As before from an observer’s perspective you would be the same person with the same looks, thoughts and memories.

There again would you be the same person that’s reading this?

Imagine that we now had our teleportation machine that does both of the above simultaneously. To the observer there would be two of you, both with the same looks, thoughts and memories.

Could you exist in both forms of you at the same time, if not which one would you exist in and if neither then has something gone missing, but what?
